Hello, I’m Megan Griffin. It has been said, "Life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better by change." Throughout the changes in my life Hatteras Island is a constant.

My deep connection to Hatteras Island began with campground summers at Camp Hatteras. From hosting at the original Down Under at Rodanthe Pier to learning the intricacies of the rental business at Surf or Sound, I've gained a comprehensive understanding of the island's unique character and the needs of both visitors and residents. My internship with Hatteras Realty further solidified my passion for the local real estate market.

During what I call "Real Estate 1.0" with Outer Beaches Realty in Waves, I built my business on a foundation of professionalism and ethics, prioritizing strong relationships with my clients to achieve positive outcomes. Even while teaching for twelve years in Pittsburgh, my summers were always spent on Hatteras Island, and in 2020, I established Highway 12 Shirts, connecting with the community through local markets. My experience managing Tri Villages Market at Camp Hatteras also keeps me deeply engaged with the island's pulse.

Now living full time in Salvo with my son, Nash, and our Golden Retriever, Honey Bee, I'm excited for "Real Estate 2.0." My diverse experiences on Hatteras Island, from tourism and rentals to local business ownership, provide me with a unique perspective to help you navigate the market, whether you're looking for a family home, an investment property, or your own piece of this special place.
