Our Salvo office services the tri-village area of Rodanthe, Waves and
Salvo. These three villages are the northernmost villages ofHatteras
Island, and border Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge on the north end
of Rodanthe. The area abounds in waterfowl and wildlife, and offers some
of the most interesting kayaking and canoeing spots onHatteras Island.
The villages offer shopping and restaurants, but provide a quieter lifestyle
and slower pace than the northern beaches.

Our Avon office services Avon and the three southern villages of Buxton,
Frisco and Hatteras Village. Avon offers the most conveniences of the island,
with its own Food Lion and movie theater. It is also the closest village to the most popular
windsurfing and kite boarding spot on the Outer Banks Canadian Hole. The next
village south is Buxton, a charming village and home of the Cape Hatteras Light,
the tallest lighthouse in the country. You will also find Cape Point in Buxton which
is a favorite fishing spot, only accessible by four-wheel drive vehicles. Frisco
is home to the Cape Hatteras schools, and has a large contingent of local residents,
as does Hatteras Village, the epitome of island charm with many local shops and
thriving fishing marinas.
